Bryan Kujawa is Director of Bands at New Berlin Eisenhower and Music Director of the Milwaukee Concert Band. He is the former Director of Bands at Shorewood High School. Kujawa earned his Master of Music Education from the VanderCook College of Music where he played principal horn in the Graduate Symphonic Band and piano in the Graduate Jazz Ensemble. His thesis focused on Composer Diversity in High School Band, a topic he recently presented on at the Wisconsin Music Educators Conference. Kujawa earned his Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire where participated in several ensembles and was drum major of the Blugold Marching Band. In 2010, Kujawa marched trumpet with the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps. He has also performed horn with the Chippewa Valley Symphony, the Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra, and Kettle Moraine Symphony, and Knightwind. His research interests include composer diversity and concert band literature. Kujawa also enjoys composing and arranging for band.
