Bryan Kujawa is the Director of Bands at New Berlin Eisenhower (2022 - present) and Music Director of the Milwaukee Concert Band (2022 - present). He is the former Director of Bands at Shorewood High School (2018-2022) and Gilman School District (2015-2018). Kujawa earned his Master of Music Education from the VanderCook College of Music (2021). He played principal horn in the Graduate Symphonic Band and piano in the Graduate Jazz Ensemble. His thesis focused on Composer Diversity in High School Band, a topic he will be presenting on this October at the Wisconsin Music Educators Conference. Kujawa earned his Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire (2013). He participated in various ensembles and was drum major of the Blugold Marching Band. In 2010, Kujawa marched trumpet with the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps. He has also performed horn with the Chippewa Valley Symphony, the Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra, and Kettle Moraine Symphony. Today, he plays horn with the Knightwind Ensemble, piano at weddings, and studies conducting/repertoire/band leadership with Dr. Erik Janners.
